Do something funny for money update!
On Friday the 13th of March Silverhill Primary was 'Funny for Money'. Everyone made a fantastic effort to look funny from clowns and 118 men to superheroes and barbie girls - and that was just the teachers! Mrs Parr lead a super assembly where we learned about the children in Africa that we were raising money for. Mrs Parr was joined by Mrs White, Mrs Turner and Mrs Mitchell to do a spelling test and our year 6 pupils announced the results of their fund raising competitions. It was great fun, we had a lot of laughs and even did some bottom racing!!! The total raised from the day was £295 - well done everyone! by Lucy, Web Club
