Year 3 and 4 gymnastics competition

Very well done to our team of Year 3/4 gymnasts who did a fantastic job at the Derby City School Sport Partnership competition. Congratulations to India for her individual gold medal and thanks to Mrs Brundish for her brilliant coaching and support.

Year 6 trip to Alter Rock

On Wednesday 5th February our team of 56 Year 6 took the short trip from school to Alter Rock for an opportunity to try rock climbing and abseiling. The children proved to be very daring and adventurous and many challenged themselves to reach heights they didn't think they were capable of. Well done Year 6! 

Chinese New Year

During the final week of January, pupils across the whole school learned all about China and the Chinese New Year through a wide range of exciting activities. From Chinese Dragons to traditional costume, food, decorations, lanterns and traditions the children helped celebrate the start of the Year of the Horse in style. Displays of pupil's work can be seen all around school.
