Happy 40th Birthday SIlverhill

On Thursday 29th March Silverhill Primary School celebrated it's 40th birthday. The day started with an assembly joined by Miss Ann Ellis, the first Head of the school, when children found out what life and school was like in 1972. After school, pupils, parents and staff were all invited to a family picnic on the school field. Everyone had a lovely time, while the sun shone Ben and Callum played 'Happy birthday' for everyone to sing along.
Happy birthday Silverhill!

Reception Trip to Chatsworth

On Tuesday 27th March, Robins and Wrens (Reception classes) went to Chatsworth Farm Park. We had a great time! We saw all the animals at the farm and were able to handle some of them. We particularly enjoyed feeding the lamb and brushing the guinea pigs. We had lunch in the sunshine and then played on the adventure playground. There were some photo opportunities on the tractor then we set off back to school.
