Global Children's Challenge

The Global Children's Challenge has begun! All our Year 4, 5 and 6 pupils (and their teachers!) all have their pedometers and are walking on their 'virtual' journey around the world. The challenge began on Thursday 15th September and will finish on Thursday 3rd November. All classes will record their steps daily on the GCC website which will track their journey around the world as they learn about health, nutrition, exercise and the places they visit on their 'virtual' walk.

Welcome back to school everyone and a special welcome to all of you who are new to Silverhill this year including over 50 four year olds!. We hope you have had a wonderful summer full of lots of fun adventures to share with us. We are looking forward to the year ahead and telling you all about how this year it will be 'Good to be Green!'
